Come and joins us in Ballachulish.
We’re in Old Town, North Ballachulish, near the head of Glencoe in the western Highlands of Scotland and very easy to reach from all directions and by various means.
From Glencoe: travel north towards Fort William on the A82, go past the village of Ballachulish and cross over the Ballachulish bridge. Across the bridge, take the 3rd road on the right, signposted for Old Town. Travelling down this road, Sealladh na Beinne is the 4th house on the right.
From Fort William: travel south out of the town on the A82 towards Oban. Travelling for approximately 10 miles you will come to the village of Onich and immediately after you will enter North Ballachulish. You will come to a petrol station on the right-hand side of the road. Approximately 200 metres beyond this, on the left, take the road signposted for Old Town. Travelling down this road, Sealladh na Beinne is the 4th house on the right.
As we’re very near the A82, there is a bus stop close to us that serves regional buses from Inverness and Skye in the north and from Glasgow in the south (see www.citylink.co.uk for travel details; our stop is North Ballachulish).
Fort William is our nearest station (12 miles away) and from there local buses or taxis can bring you here quite easily. Fun fact: ScotRail’s West Highland Line has space for up to 20 bikes from 2021.
Glasgow airport: 86 miles
Inverness airport: 86 miles
Edinburgh airport: 114 miles
